Terminal V festival organisers set for biggest weekend yet after multiple Covid-19 postponements

Terminal V Festival is all set to welcome techno fans back through its gates after an extremely difficult and trying two years through the coronavirus pandemic.

The festivals and nightlife sector were hit hard by Covid-19 restrictions, but as things loosen up Terminal V Festival returns with a much anticipated two day Easter weekend event after four previous postponements.

This year's huge event will see the world's finest techno and house artists across six custom built and spectacular stages in Edinburgh's Royal Highland Centre.The Easter weekend festival is aptly named and themed ‘Resurgence’, as organisers are ready to welcome back fans to Terminal V as it is bigger and better than ever.The massive indoor event boasts more stages than ever before, with six arenas featuring over 80 of the biggest and most in demand international acts from all corners of electronic music including Amelie Lens, Alan Fitzpatrick, Dax J, Floorplan, Helena Hauff, I Hate Models, Special Request, Ben UFO, Marcel Dettmann, Nina Kraviz, Robert Hood, Sven Vath, Mall Grab, Green Velvet and much more.Festival co-founder Derek Martin told the Daily Record that despite keeping optimistic about planning the live event during the pandemic, the postponements were 'horrendous'.He said: "It feels exciting yet nerve racking, as we’ve been planning this event for so long that it’s quite surreal we’re now almost finally there."Having to postpone last October was horrendous, I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
