Sober ravers are on the hunt for a man they call ‘bongo boy’ who vibed with revellers in a Manchester club last weekend. Organisers ‘are on a mission’ to track him down as they have a proposition for him as a thank you for entertaining partygoers.
Stef Smith, who is the co-founder of Flamingo AF, the company behind the booze-free rave along with DryWave, posted a TikTok in the hopes that she can find the man who made everyone’s night. Speaking to the MEN, Stef explained how everyone presumed ‘bongo boy’ was hired to perform at the rave at Vision Nightclub on Saturday. “What happened was we had two rooms, so we had the DryWave room which Ben Riley, who runs Dry Wave, had famous artists in - such as Ewan McVicar and other famous DJs, then we had our Flamingo room,” Stef said. “The Flamingo room was like a sunhouse vibe type room.
