Constance Marten and Mark Gordon have both been further arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter as police continue to search for a missing baby.
The pair were initially arrested on suspicion of child neglect in the early hours of this morning following weeks on the run.
The pair went missing after their car was found burning on the M61 in Bolton on January 5. Marten, who is from a wealthy aristocratic family, and Gordon, a convicted sex offender, have been travelling around the UK by taxi ever since.
Metropolitan Police confirmed the pair were arrested by officers from Sussex Police in Stanmer Villas, Brighton on Monday night after a member of the public reported seeing them shortly before 9.30pm.
