EXCLUSIVE: Lee Majdoub, one of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise’s recurring cast members, has signed with Buchwald for representation in all areas.

Andrés Buenahora “Sonic the Hedgehog 3,” the third iteration in the film franchise based on Sega’s enduring speedster, will be available to stream on Paramount+ on Feb. 18. The third “Sonic” feature picks up with the blue blur, along with Tails the Fox and Knuckles the Echidna, having to team up with their nemesis Dr.

Sonic The Hedgehog 3 sees Keanu Reeves join the voice cast as Shadow The Hedgehog, who allies with mad scientist Ivo Robotnik and his grandfather Professor Gerald Robotnik against Sonic, Tails and Knuckles.Jim Carrey returns in a dual role this time as Ivo and Gerald Robotnik, alongside other returning cast members Ben Schwartz, Colleen O’Shaughnessey, Idris Elba, James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, and Lee Majdoub.Following the success of all three films, a fourth Sonic film is already in development, which is scheduled to be released in 2027.The film’s score is by Tom Holkenborg (also known as Junkie XL), who scored the previous two Sonic movies. His other film credits include Mad Max: Fury Road, Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Godzilla vs. Kong, and Alita: Battle Angel.You can stream the entire soundtrack below.Like the previous two films, Sonic The Hedgehog 3 features a wealth of songs by other artists, including an original track by Jelly Roll called ‘Run It’ which plays over the credits.The film also includes ‘Live And Learn’ by Crush 40, which is the main theme song from 2001 game Sonic Adventure 2.

Amid the continued success of its third installment, Paramount Pictures’ Sonic the Hedgehog feature franchise has zoomed past $1B at the worldwide box office. Based on the Sega video game, the first two pictures were released in February 2020 and April 2022, respectively, grossing a combined $725.2M globally. The threequel, which released domestically on December 20 and expanded overseas beginning December 25, has grossed over $312M to date, bringing the running franchise total to more than $1.037B.

Upload, which blends sci-fi with romantic comedy, is set in a technologically advanced future where holographic phones, self-driving vehicles, AI assistance, and 3D food printers are the norm. And instead of dying, people can be “uploaded” to a virtual reality afterlife, enjoying all the comforts of a world-class resort at a top-of-the-line place such as Lakeview — provided they can afford it. Created and executive produced by Greg Daniels, the Amazon MGM Studios-produced show stars Robbie Amell and Andy Allo. Majdoub can most recently be seen reprising his Agent Stone character in Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and recently wrapped production on Sonic The Hedgehog 3. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is now in production and a first look at Shadow the Hedgehog has now been revealed.

Paramount’s Sonic The Hedgehog 2 ran off with a $1.2M No. 1 start in France on Wednesday as the sequel begins early rollout at the international box office this weekend. In France, the little blue critter topped the previous film’s first day holiday release in the market by 30%.
