Fatboy Slim, Romy and Mura Masa are among the leading names who have been announced on the 2022 line-up for Glastonbury‘s Silver Hayes area.The Worthy Farm festival is set to return this year from June 22-26, with Billie Eilish, Paul McCartney and Kendrick Lamar to headline the Pyramid Stage.The latest 2022 line-up announcement from Glastonbury has been made today (April 22) for the festival’s Silver Hayes area, which offers “the best names in electronic, R&B, bass, rap, drum & bass and dub music”.As well as Fatboy Slim, Romy and Mura Masa, the likes of Berwyn, Leon Vynehall, Bad Boy Chiller Crew, Sofia Kourtesis, India Jordan, Kojey Radical, ArrDee, Gorgon City, Groove Armada (DJ set), Lava La Rue, Logic1000, Nia Archives, Potter Payper and Shy FX are all set to play at Silver Hayes this year.You can check out the full music line-up for Glastonbury’s Silver Hayes area above.In a statement, Glastonbury confirmed that, this year, Silver Hayes will see “SONIC & WOW make a welcome return, whilst new additions come in the form of THE LONELY HEARTS CLUB – an art deco cinema structure standing over 40 foot high – and FIRMLY ROOTED, a space celebrating all things sound-system culture”. This latest line-up announcement follows on from Glastonbury confirming the bill for their Field Of Avalon area last week.

Green Man Festival has announced the second wave of artists for their 2022 line-up.The Brecon Beacons, Wales festival will return for its 20th anniversary event from August 18-21.With Kraftwerk, Michael Kiwanuka, Beach House, Metronomy and Bicep already set to headline this year’s festival, Green Man has now announced another wave of acts for their 2022 event.Tune-Yards, Sofia Kourtesis and Nia Archives lead the latest additions to the line-up, with Charlotte Adigéry and Bolis Pupul, Mary Lattimore, Donny Benét, Carwyn Ellis & Rio 18 (who will be accompanied by the National Orchestra of Wales), Penelope Isles, Nathan Fake and The Long Blondes also on the bill.Charles Watson, Art School Girlfriend, Cerys Hafana, Ural Thomas & The Pain, John Mouse, El Goodo, Mandrake Handshake, Joe & The Shitboys, Honeyglaze, Eli Smart, Bonnie Kemplay and Social Gathering are also set to perform.Further line-ups of music, science, film, comedy and literature will be revealed by Green Man in the coming months.Tickets for Green Man Festival 2022 have already sold out, but you can find out more information about this year’s event by heading here.“We’re so excited about Green Man’s 20th birthday, and we’re planning to celebrate his big anniversary with lots of wonderful surprises and the best party ever!” Green Man boss Fiona Stewart previously said in a statement about this year’s festival.

Nia Archives has won Best Producer Supported By BandLab at the BandLab NME Awards 2022.The producer, on the rise for her fresh and vibrant jungle sound, beat out Arca, Fred Again.., India Jordan, and Travis Barker for this year’s award.“It’s an enormous role, but one thing all of tonight’s nominees have in common is they are all dedicated to their craft,” presenter Tiffany Calver said of the job of a producer.“I fucking love jungle music,” Archives said while accepting the award at London’s O2 Academy Brixton, adding that she dedicates the win to her little brother.“It doesn’t matter who you are, it doesn’t matter where you come from, you can do whatever you like and you can make something of yourself,” she added.Nia Archives was born in Bradford and raised in Manchester on a steady diet of reggae, rocksteady and old-school jungle. She made the cut for the NME 100 2022, which lists a hundred essential emerging artists to keep an eye on this year, for her “dancefloor-ready nu-jazz” that packs in “every one of her diverse influences.”The DJ and vocalist’s innovative take on drum ’n’ bass can be heard on her remix of fellow nominee PinkPantheress’ track ‘Nineteen’, which was featured on her ‘To Hell With It’ remix album.
