A man has been seriously injured in a 'shooting' and knife attack at a shop in Glasgow.Police were called to Ladymuir Crescent to reports of an injured man shortly after 8pm on Sunday evening.A 35-year-old man was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University hospital.
He is receiving treatment for serious but not life-threatening injuries.A firearm was used in the incident but the victim was not struck by bullets.
A bladed weapon was also used during the terrifying attack.Officers remain at the scene on Monday morning as enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.10pm on Sunday, 13 August, 2023, police received a report of a 35-year-old man being found injured on Ladymuir Crescent, Glasgow."He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
