Police have launched an attempted murder investigation following a double stabbing in Manchester city centre. Greater Manchester Police's Major Incident Team launched a probe after the incident on Dale Street at around 6.30pm on Wednesday (August 16).
Two men - one aged in his 20s and one aged in his 30s - were rushed to hospital after the violent attack near the Piccadilly train station and the Rochdale canal.

Three males were arrested on Wednesday night on suspicion of section 18 assault. A 21-year-old man remains in custody and the other two males were released without charge.
