A forensic search on a street in Glasgow is linked to an alleged attempted murder outside a shop in Pollok two weeks ago. Officers were called to Mansionhouse Road in the Shawlands area of the city on Sunday, August 27.
Images from the scene show a large cordon in place with multiple cop vehicles and forensic officers in attendance.Police have today confirmed the inquiries were connected to an alleged 'shooting' and 'knife attack' which took place at a shop four miles away on Ladymuir Crescent.
A 35-year-old was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital after being found seriously injured by police on Sunday, August 13.Three men – aged 34, 34 and 40 – have since been arrested and charged in connection with alleged attempted murder.
Police say inquiries into the alleged attack remain ongoing. Detective Inspector Phillip Kennedy said: “Three men – aged 34, 34 and 40 – have been arrested and charged in connection with the attempted murder of a man in Glasgow.
