First picture of teenage boy who died in 'suspected drugs death' at Scots house
dailyrecord.co.ukA teenage boy who tragically died in a suspected drugs death after falling unwell at a property in Fife has been named locally.Jake Jones, 16, passed away after a number of people reportedly took ill after being at a house in Kirkland Avenue, Ballingry.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 11.55am on Sunday, October 29.Ambulance crews attended and Jake, who was also known as Jay, was rushed to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.
Tragically, he was pronounced dead a short time later.It’s understood detectives are investigating if drugs played a part in his death.
Jake's loved ones have been left devastated by the news and tributes have been paid on social media.His heartbroken girlfriend wrote: "Rest easy Jay, I loved you then and I'll forever love you.
