Primary kids learn history of Blantyre through town's first children's book

Pupils of High Blantyre Primary were given a history lesson on their hometown by a local children's author as part of their Book Week programme.Zoe Dargue popped in to tell the tale of time-travelling cat Brae who features in what is believed to be Blantyre's first ever children's book.Brae Discovers Blantryre follows a stray cat named Brae on a magical journey of discovery throughout Blantyre’s past and present.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
