Water bills are set to rise significantly in just a matter of days. Industry regulator Ofwat will announce its decision on Thursday, July 11, on how much firms will be able to raise bills.
Firms like Thames Water have asked to hike costs by 56 per cent, which could increase bills to £722 by 2030. To help get ahead of any potentially nasty surprises, energy experts at Clearsight Energy have proposed some simple ways customers could slash money on their water bills.
Better yet, customers only need to do some simple things, such as repairing a tap, to potentially save hundreds of pounds a year.
