Lily Allen admits she 'burst into tears' after emotional goodbye with daughters - 'I can't speak to them for a month'

Lily Allen has admitted that she broke down in tears for a staggering "90 minutes" recently, after emotionally saying farewell to her daughters as they headed to a month-long summer camp in the US.The singer confessed that her emotional outburst left her A-lister husband David Harbour "quite concerned" after she said goodbye to her daughters, Ethel, 12, and Marnie, 11, after a hectic travel day.

Lily opened up about her teary ordeal on her podcast Miss Me? with co-host Miquita Oliver.The 39-year-old began by explaining that chaos from an unforeseen travel disruption, caused by a global IT issue, heightened her emotions and sparked her tearful display on the day.

Lily explained that she feared she wouldn't get her girls to the US on time and the mixture of the travel issues and saying goodbye made her feel "discombobulated." She confessed: "We dropped the kids off and it was great, it was so sweet, I'm so glad that we got them there on time. "And then, me and David left and we drove out and as we drove out, I could see Ethel walking across this field arm-in-arm with three other girls.

I just burst into tears, I can't tell you, I cried for like 90 minutes. David was quite concerned about me, I was bereft." Miquita confirmed to listeners that Lily wasn't normally one to cry and the mother-of-two went on to admit that she has already written to letters to her daughters, despite it only being a few days into their camp.
