Alex Chadley, the lovable contestant from Beauty and the Geek, has spilled the beans on his journey through the reality TV show.The 29 year old geek opened up about his quest for love and personal growth on the series, where he was paired with the stunning Eliza.The show pairs up a group of gorgeous women with a bunch of brainy men to see if sparks fly while they tackle various challenges that test both intellect and social skills.

In a candid tell-all on his YouTube channel, Alex dished out details about life behind the scenes, including their very own 'nerd base' complete with gaming consoles and a ping pong table.

He reminisced, "We got our own secret nerd base. It was so good. We got a ping pong table, coaches, gaming stuff and we even had consoles like PS1, PS2 and that kind of thing." Despite the cool setup, Alex revealed that there wasn't much time to enjoy it due to the jam-packed filming schedule.

Reflecting on the ups and downs with Eliza, he confessed that things took a turn for the worse during episode 11, especially when the geeks were thrown into the deep end with speed dating.
