EAMONN Holmes has been quizzed by police after being pulled over as part of a car theft investigation. The GB News host told fans he was "delighted" to have been checked over by Surrey police after a string of "car thefts in the area".
Eamonn, 62, took to Twitter to detail to his fans how he had been asked to stop at the side of the road on his way into work on Wednesday.
The former This Morning presenter detailed: "Pulled over by police on the way to work and delighted to be so. "A lot of car thefts in my area and they were just checking that the car I was in wasn’t one of them." He concluded by heaping praise on the "two young officers in their twenties" as an "absolute credit" to the police force.
Eamonn announced that he would be moving to GB News in November, where he is set to host a new daytime show with Isabel Webster.
