Rylan Clark has opened up about his marriage split and the toll it took on his mental health. The radio and TV star split from husband Dan Neal in 2021 after six years.
The news came out amid Rylan's four-month break from the spotlight. Rylan, 33, bravely opened up about his struggles during that period earlier this year, where he admitted that for the first time in his life he felt 'alone'.
But now, in a new interview, the BBC Radio 2 host has said his "telly mum and dad", Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, were concerned about the "state" he was in and how he nearly lost control last summer as he came to terms with what had happened. I hadn’t been there for so long because I didn’t feel comfortable. My mum and sister-in-law were acting really weird and I didn’t know why.
