crash on a busy Scots road, a judge has ruled. Grandfather-of-six David Walton, 57, and 17-year-old Joshua Hatton-Emery were pronounced dead at the scene after their van collided with a lorry on M74 near Eaglesfield, Dumfries and Galloway on May 2, 2019.
Van driver David, and passenger Joshua, had travelled north from Stoke-on-Trent to deliver furniture and crashed into the back of the HGV.
The lorry driver was not hurt during the incident.Student Joshua stayed at David’s home the night before, and they set off at 1.45am on May 5, 2019.
