She was holidaying on the Greek island with a friend. She reportedly said that the taxi driver raped her in the back of his cab at an isolated spot on the island.After the alleged attack she was taken to a nearby hospital and examined.
Greek news outlet Protothema reports that a 28-year-old man was arrested on June 2 and was released the following day, pending further investigation.Authorities are yet to release any further details.
The accused man has reportedly denied the accusations from the moment he was arrested, instead insisting that the sex was fully consensual.
