A Boogie Wit da Hoodie has announced that he will perform at the AO Arena on Saturday night (May 4) following the last-minute cancellation of his original gig at Co-op Live.
The American rapper had been set to perform at the new £365m venue in Eastlands on Wednesday night (May 1), but Co-op Live bosses were forced to cancel the event as fans arrived for the show.
The venue said the show was cancelled after a 'piece of air conditioning unit' fell from the ceiling during a soundcheck. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. Following the cancellation, Boogie said he and his team were working to arrange a new show in Manchester. The rapper posted on social media on Wednesday night: "Something happened with the venue while I was at soundcheck today that caused cancellation of the show.
