Vontaze Burfict, the controversial former linebacker who played for the Cincinnati Bengals and Oakland Raiders, was arrested Saturday in Nevada.
Burfict, 30, was arrested on a misdemeanor battery charge, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported, citing Clark County court records.
No other details about his arrest were released. He was held on a $1,000 bond. The one-time Pro Bowler hasn’t played in the NFL since he was suspended for the remainder of the 2019 season after his helmet-to-helmet hit on Indianapolis Colts tight end Jack Doyle.
