The Twilight Sad paid tribute to the late Scott Hutchison at their show in Glasgow last night (Friday April 1) by covering Frightened Rabbit‘s ‘Keep Yourself Warm’ with the band’s drummer.Yesterday, the Scottish band announced that their two hometown gigs at the Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom would see them joined by Frightened Rabbit’s drummer, Scott’s brother Grant Hutchison. Mogwai’s Alex Mackay also stepped in for Twilight Sad guitarist Andy MacFarlane, who was unable to perform “due to personal reasons”.The band have regularly covered ‘Keep Yourself Warm’ at shows since their close friend Hutchison took his own life in 2018.

Tony Nominee Ephraim Sykes Joins Adrienne Warren in Broadway’s ‘Room’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Rebecca Rubin Film and Media Reporter Ephraim Sykes, a Tony nominee for the Temptations musical “Ain’t Too Proud,” is returning to Broadway in “Room,” a stage version of the Oscar-winning movie. The play and the 2015 film, starring Brie Larson, were based on Emma Donoghue’s 2010 best-selling novel. “Room” tells the story of Ma, who was kidnapped as a teenager and held in captivity for seven years. She’s trapped with her five-year-old son Jack, who was born in confinement and has no concept of the outside world. But the time has come to escape imprisonment and face their biggest challenge to date: life outside Room. As previously announced, “Tina: The Tina Turner Musical” star Adrienne Warren is leading the cast as Ma. Sykes, whose stage and screen credits include “Hamilton” and “Hairspray Live,” is playing SuperJack.

Kathryn Joseph has announced that she will release her third album – ‘For You Who Are The Wronged’ – in April.The follow-up to 2018’s ‘From When I Wake The Want Is’, the new record was written in early 2020 and features songs themed around different types of violation. She says that she hopes the album might help someone who recognises themselves in one of these songs.“Partly, it feels like the only thing I can do in terms of saying it out loud”, she explains.
