The heatwave will make many British gardens hotter than Tenerife beaches, say forecasters. “Further north and west the heat will always be more muted,” says Weathertrending’s John Hammond of “but most of us will have some days of fine and warm weather.”But, he says, we shouldn’t put away our warm clothes just yet, as the weather looks to remain unsettled in the longer term.
