A dentist who illegally shared intimate photos of his ex on a website for swingers while "advertising" himself to others has failed in his bid to overturn his conviction.Dominic Fletcher, 25, uploaded photos of himself in "intimate" situations with his former partner onto FabSwingers, an adults-only website for casual sexual encounters, without her consent.
The registered dentist, of Dundee, uploaded the explicit pics to make his profile "more attractive" to would-be hook-ups.The photos had been taken consensually while the couple were together – but were shared on his FabSwingers profile without her knowledge.
Fletcher's shocking conduct was uncovered after he unknowingly sent a friend request to a mutual acquaintance on the website in December 2021.Fletcher had sought to obscure the identity of his ex by drawing a black band across her eyes – but the shocked pal recognised her and raised the alarm.
Police were contacted, and Fletcher was convicted of sharing the explicit photos without his former partner's permission at Dundee Sheriff Court in August 2022.He was given a 12 month community payback order with 180 hours of work and ordered to pay £500 compensation.
