Queen’s granddaughters Zara Tindall and princesses Eugenie and Beatrice missed catching up with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry during the Jubilee celebrations after a ‘boozy lunch’ ran late, it is claimed. The cousins had planned to meet the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after the ‘celebratory’ family lunch which came after the Red Arrows’ display over Buckingham Palace.

Lilibet wore a light blue dress and a white bow in her hair for the special day.A spokesperson for the couple tells ET that Lilibet's parents invited close friends and family to celebrate her first birthday with a casual, intimate backyard picnic at Frogmore Cottage.A source close to the family previously told ET that several relatives were on hand for the occasion, including Princess Anne's children, Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips, along with their spouses and children. The birthday girl's cake was created by Claire Ptak, from East London’s Violet Bakery, the same baker who was responsible for crafting Meghan and Harry's wedding cake in 2018.The party was an opportunity for the young children who are close in age to spend some time together, the source noted, adding that it was low-key and relaxed with birthday cake for all the kids to enjoy.Meghan and Harry are incredibly touched by the birthday wishes for their daughter, and amazed that more than $100,000 was raised for World Central Kitchen in her honor, according to their spokesperson.The organization, the couple's spokesperson explains, is close to Meghan and Harry's hearts as it's first on the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate and community crisis.

Zara Tindall have taken to Instagram to show off their Platinum Jubilee plans as the celebrations get underway for the milestone anniversary.Mike and Zara, who is 21st in line to the throne, were the epitome of class as they documented their stay at one of London’s top rated hotels.He shared the joint post with The Stafford London, a five star hotel situated in London, and added the venue in the location tag.In the first picture, Mike and Zara stood in front of the impressive stonework archway of the hotel’s door, framed by huge metal pillars and large green bushes.Mike posed to the left in a smart black suit jacket, grey trousers, a red tie and black dress shoes, beaming for the camera as he stood next to his wife.Zara wore an ankle length gown in crimson red with long tiered sleeves, a pair of nude stilettos and a bright red fascinator.She styled her blonde hair in a sleek bun and accessorised with a large silver watch on her wrist.In the second snap, he showed off the Stafford hotel’s cobbled yard which had been decorated with festive bunting of red, white and blue.The white buildings were surrounded by green bushed and covered by a clear blue sky, perfect weather for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.In the third picture, Mike and Zara stood either side of a portrait of the Queen, framed in white and adorned with flags as they posed with their hands on the picture.Mike wrote in the caption: “Great start to the day, thanks to the Stafford London for having the family.
