Rachel Zegler attends scaled-back ‘Snow White’ event in wake of film’s PR disaster — without Gal Gadot
the controversial movie.Lead star Rachel Zegler and director Marc Webb attended the event, held at a remote medieval castle called Alcázar of Segovia, which was the inspiration for the castle in the original 1937 “Snow White” film.Disney said that press, content creators, children and their families from Spanish CSR Organizations, and families from Segovia were also at the event.Gal Gadot, who plays the Evil Queen, was not in attendance.The Post has reached out to Gadot’s rep for comment.In front of the castle, Zegler, 23, performed “Waiting on a Wish,” the first single from the film’s original soundtrack.The actress channeled her Disney character by wearing a white sleeveless dress with a floral print and a flowing train.Due to multiple controversies, Disney has opted not to have over-the-top premieres to promote the fantasy film, out March 21.Variety reported this week that the March 15 premiere at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles will be a quiet, laid-back pre-party and screening limited to photographers and an in-house crew.Zegler and Galdot, 39, are both expected to be at the event, but they won’t be answering questions from dozens of media outlets.Webb’s “Snow White” movie has been facing yearslong scrutiny.
