Four Tet stepped up to close out Coachella alongside Fred Again.. and Skrillex.

Coachella 2023 Weekend 2 kicks off today (April 21), with Blink-182 headlining in Frank Ocean’s stead, followed (confusingly) by a festival-closing DJ set from Skrillex, Four Tet, and Fred Again... The undercard filled with FADER favorites: Björk, Weyes Blood, Alex G, Kali Uchis, GloRilla, Sudan Archives, Christine and the Queens, and others.

Blink-182 will perform in the headline slot at Coachella this weekend with the band stepping in for the injured Frank Ocean. News of Ocean's decision to pull out of the second weekend of the California festival was announced earlier this week. Blink-182 appeared during the first weekend, playing a surprise set on the Friday.

Skrillex (aka Sonny Moore) has announced a monumental one-off show at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, where he’ll perform for a mind-boggling five hours.Similar to his recent gig at Madison Square Garden in New York – where he DJ’d alongside recent collaborators Fred Again.. and Four Tet – Moore will hit the decks at 7pm, delivering tunes from then until midnight.

Fred Again.., Skrillex and Four Tet have teamed up once again for a new song, ‘Baby Again..’‘Baby Again..’ samples Lil Baby and DaBaby‘s 2019 track ‘Baby’, but fans familiar with the three producers’ output may well have heard it before.The track debuted during Fred Again..’s viral Boiler Room set last summer but it was also played at the trio’s recent show at New York’s Madison Square Garden during a climactic moment midway through the set where the house lights went off.The trio previously worked together alongside Flowdan on the single ‘Rumble’, which was released in January as one of the first songs to be heard from Skrillex’s album ‘Quest For Fire’. Produced by Live Nation, the 14-city tour kicks off on October 12, making stops at arenas across North America, including a date at Madison Square Garden in New York. The previously announced 2023 “Summer Carnival Stadium Tour” features special guests Brandi Carlile and 2022 Hall of Fame inductees Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo on select dates, along with Grouplove and KidCutUp on all tour dates. “Trustfall” features collaborations with Chris Stapleton, the Lumineers, and First Aid Kit, as well as songwriters and producers Max Martin, Shellback, Greg Kurstin, Fred Again, Billy Mann and others. Pink will be appearing on NBC’s “Today,” CBS’ “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” and a a show takeover special on “The Drew Barrymore Show.”

Skrillex made the announcement on his Instagram account Wednesday; tickets appeared on Ticketmaster around the same time. While the three have already played last-minute shows together at London venues such as Troxy and the Electric Ballroom, this show will be the first at a major venue. They have been working together on new music in New York and on Tuesday night sold out a special Valentine’s Day pop-up show at Good Room last night.
