Scots stars Lewis Capaldi and LF System have been nominated at The BRIT Awards 2023 for Song Of The Year.The ceremony will take place at The O2 in London on February 11, be hosted by comedian Mo Gilligan and broadcast live on STV.
The BRITs will honour the achievements of the biggest music artists, in both the UK and internationally. The nominations were announced by BBC Radio 1 presenters' Vick Hope, who is engaged to Scots DJ Calvin Harris, and Jack Saunders during a live stream on the official awards social media channels today.
The duo enlisted the help of Olympian Tom Daley and I’m A Celebrity winner Jill Scott for the reveal.Harry Styles and Wet Leg are taking the awards by storm with nominations in four different categories, while Stormzy, dance producer Fred Again.., The 1975, and Arctic Monkeys are recognised in three.
Taking to Twitter after the announcement was made, Capaldi cheekily wrote: "It’s an honour to be nominated for British Song Of The Year.
