Everton fan on Thursday night. The Crystal Palace manager was caught on camera lashing out at a supporter. Vieira was goaded by the fan and appeared to retaliate by going to grab him and then kicking out during a pitch invasion.
When Vieira was asked about the incident, he said: "I’ve got nothing to say on that." Everton fans invaded the pitch after Dominic Calvert-Lewin headed in a late winner to secure the Toffees safety.
They were cleared off so the game could be finished after Frank Lampard’s side came from 2-0 down to win 3-2. But thousands flocked onto the pitch at the final whistle to celebrate with supporters.It follows ugly scenes earlier in the week after Nottingham Forest’s Championship play-off semi-final win over Sheffield United when Blades striker Billy Sharp was headbutted by a fan.
