The talented team behind Selfridges has managed to transform it into a destination in its own right, with second-hand shopping floors, champagne bars, yoga studios and a glossy, sexy aesthetic that means whether you're buying a £10,000 handbag or a £6 pastrami sandwich, it feels fun and fashionable.

And far more exciting than shopping from the sofa. Jace Tyrrell, the CEO of the West End Company, which has helped develop these plans, knows it too.
