Elon Musk has mocked Russia following the news that they will stop providing the US with engines for their rockets in response to sanctions placed on the country.
The sanctions come as the country started their brutal invasion of Ukraine last week. The boss of the Russian space program, Dmitry Rogozin, was targeted by SpaceX billionaire Musk after he made the suggestion that the US would have to make their trips to orbit on their "broomsticks".
Musk took to Twitter to taunt the head of the Russian state space agency. He tweeted in response to a tweet of Space X's Falcon 9 rocket launching another 47 Starlink satellite: "American broomsticks".
The Tesla founder got under the skin of the Russian government after he activated the SpaceX satellite-internet system that will aid the people of Ukraine after the country's leadership reached out.
