A nurse has died after having to work in a coronavirus-stricken hospital without a mask. Danielle DiCenso, 33, worked at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, Florida until just over two weeks ago, when she became too sick to keep working.
She'd been tested for Covid-19 in March but the results were inconclusive. Her grieving husband David says her selfless nature and the hospital being understocked with personal protective equipment (PPE) may have led to her being exposed to the contagious virus.
