The Oscars bosses have announced they will be launching a formal investigation after Will Smith hit Chris Rock during the event on Sunday.The Hollywood star found himself irritated when Chris made a swipe at Jada's "GI Jane" style hair, causing the Men In Black actor to jump onto the stage before slapping Rock.Will's husband Jada suffers from alopecia but it is unclear as to whether Chris knew about this when he made the jokeJada looked speechless when Chris made the comment about the role that Demi Moore had famously made the decision to shave her hair off for.Now, The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences has said they will be looking into the event that has left the world gobsmacked.In a statement, they said: "The Academy condemns the actions of Mr Smith at last night’s show. Anthony Anderson's marriage is coming to an end.
