GMB's Kate Garraway forced to interrupt awkward Jason Donovan interview as he snaps 'really?'

During a slightly uncomfortable moment on Good Morning Britain, host Kate Garraway found herself in an awkward situation with guest Jason Donovan.

The ITV morning show saw Kate and co-host Adil Ray chatting with the Australian star about his return to the role of Frank-N-Furter in the Rocky Horror UK tour, reminiscing about his previous stint in 1998.The musical is set to embark on a tour starting this August, with a special two-week performance at London's Dominion Theatre from September.

Jason, who has been portraying the character in Sydney and Melbourne as part of the show's 50th anniversary celebrations, joined the GMB hosts live from Sydney.In the interview, Kate, 57, said: "That's the happy place that you're in now isn't it because 25 years ago, when you were last on stage, the Rocky Horror show in this role, it kind of saved you from a very very dark place, where it didn't look like at the time that you'd be looking and feeling this good 25 years on, did it? ".Jason, however, seemed taken aback by her comment, responding with: "Well, I mean, you know, I don't know whether it necessarily saved me?

It had a purpose in my life..." before being swiftly interrupted by Kate, reports the Mirror. The presenter challenged: "I'm just saying that you've been quoted as saying that it saved you, it's not me making it up! " leaving Jason visibly embarrassed as he responded: "Oh, am I?
