A mum-of-two who was battling to save a dying man's life has been hit with a £100 fine for overstaying just 14 minutes in a car park.
Gemma Hutt tried to help the man who had collapsed close to the CCTV cameras at a car park in Newbury, Berkshire. The 38-year-old gave him cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) until paramedics arrived, even though it meant she would go over the time she had paid for in the car park.
She received a £100 penalty charge from Euro Car Parks, and appealed offering proof of what had happened, but it was rejected.
