Each week it seems there's a new trend on TikTok, something that people are desperate to try out. This week, the thing that's got everyone talking is a horror movie, called Megan Is Missing.

Originally released back in 2011, the film has recently resurfaced and has caused a stir on the platform, with many users claiming it left them feeling "traumatised".

The psychological horror, written and directed by Michael Goi, follows the disappearance of high school student Megan Stewart and the subsequent investigation launched by her best friend Amy Herman.

It was banned in New Zealand upon release and has been heavily criticised for the over-sexualisation of teenagers, violence and poor quality acting.
