Brooke Vincent has been flooded with messages as she declared she was a 'geek' as she revelled - and rightly so - being on the big screen as she made her next theatre stop.

It was revealed back in November that the 31-year-old would be making her stage debut by starring in the late Kay Mellor’s final stage play that has since started touring across the UK and will include a stop at The Lowry.

It is being directed by Kay’s daughter and former Emmerdale actress Gaynor Faye in her late mum's name.
