BBC show Dragon's Den have been left baffled after their appearance on the show wasn't aired.. Business owner Howard Brown, 60, and his partner Alex Black, aged 64, were awarded an investment from Dragon' Touker Suleyman for their underfloor heating business. The Birmingham pair said when the BBC contacted them to let them know they would be not airing their section it came as a huge blow and they were "mystified" about the reason for the decision.Ahead of what they thought would be their appearance on the show they moved their Real Infra Red Ltd company into a larger office- because they though they'd receive "lots of orders" after being seen on TV.And they said they now need to leave their new base and 'downscale' after revised forecasts.Mr Brown said: "Our pitch was so entertaining that the researcher was saying: 'Well that was terrific, that's going to be great TV'.

We were having a laugh and banter, the back and forth was really good."It went very well, it was very enlightening, a terrific experience and we got an offer from Touker so we were over the moon.

We were made up that he wanted to be an equal partner with us."Then we get the news, three weeks ago, that they weren't screening our segment.

They just sent us an email saying it's nothing to do with our product or the pitch, but they have decided not to air it."We imagine that everyone that got an investment, especially if it was good television, would get aired and we didn't.
