The family of a cab driver who died of coronavirus claim he was refused treatment by paramedics and left "slumped over a garden fence" when an ambulance was called to his home.
Derek Stewart, from Cardonald, Glasgow died of Covid-19 on May 1 after catching the virus while working as a driver for Renfrewshire Cabs.
His family has called the way he was treated by paramedics and hospital staff "inhumane" after an investigation into the incident was launched, GlasgowLive reports.
Derek, who leaves behind a daughter and two grand-children, was left bedridden and unable to breathe shortly after a customer coughed in his cab in April.
