Chelsea have decided against pursuing Achraf Hakimi in the transfer market because of how impressed the club has been with Reece James.
The Morocco international has spent the past two seasons on loan to Borussia Dortmund from Real Madrid. At the age of 21, Los Blancos see a big future in the right-back but he found himself behind Dani Carvajal and Alvaro Odriozola in the pecking order.
But during his time in the Bundesliga, Hakimi has probably overtaken the two in terms of talent. The youngster has been a force in Dortmund's starting XI, completing a technical tactical system that sees the wing-backs bomb forward.
