Zimmer will receive the honor during the Rockie Awards on June 9 — repping the first time Banff’s Gala Honours will be combined with the Rockie Awards International Program Competition.

Cult Of The Lamb composer River Boy (real name Narayana Johnson) has died.The news was shared via a statement posted across their social media channels, though a cause of death has not been announced.As audio director of Massive Monster, River Boy created the iconic score for Cult Of The Lamb and also voiced every Follower within the game. He also released music as part of the duo Willow Beats.“It’s with heavy and broken hearts we have to announce that Narayana Johnson, AKA River Boy, has passed away,” said the statement posted on Bluesky.

Cristóbal Tapia de Veer, the composer who has written the theme songs for The White Lotus, is exiting the production after three seasons.

In an interview with the New York Times, the three-time Emmy winner said he and creator Mike White had different visions for the show’s theme song, which started in Season 1 and intensified during production of the currently airing third season. For the show’s first two seasons, Tapia de Veer’s eery theme song contributed to the show’s unsettling atmosphere with strange sounds including a recurring “ooh-loo-loo-loo” chorus.

However last night (March 13), Konami hosted a special Silent Hill transmission dedicated to the new game.As well as sharing an eerie reveal trailer, Konami confirmed acclaimed psychological horror writer Ryukishi07 is behind the game’s story while music will come from legendary Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka and Kensuke Inage, who will be responsible for composing the score for the game’s Otherworld.Set in the remote Japanese town of Ebisugaoka during the 1960s, Silent Hill f focuses on teenager Shimizu Hinako.

Brut Post TikTok Subscriber MilestoneFrance’s young adult-focused, online news-skewed platform Brut is sounding its own bell after hitting 10 million subscribers on TikTok, making it the top French publisher on the Chinese-owned platform. The subscriber gains also make the platform the second most followed European news publisher on TikTok after the Daily Mail. “Making news on TikTok was a challenge. A successful bet with 10 million subscribers, which makes us the leading news media in France on a platform historically focused on entertainment,” said TikTok Editor in Chief Laurent Lucas in a release. “This symbolic milestone reflects the success of an editorial policy developed especially for new uses of information consumption in France and around the world.”  Launched by Guillaume Lacroix and Renaud le Van Kim in 2016, the Paris-based platform employs some 250 people. It has had its financial ups and down over its existence but reported last year that it had gone into profit in the final quarter of 2023.  The company is also pushing into the U.S., Africa and India.
