Cristóbal Tapia de Veer, the composer who has written the theme songs for The White Lotus, is exiting the production after three seasons.

Why? Creative differences with the show’s creator, Mike White. If you remember, the theme song for seasons one and two were similar, but season three featured a completely different song that really had the Internet upset for a bit.

The main difference in the opening music for seasons 1-2 vs. 3 is the exclusion of the “ooh-loo-loo-loos” in the latest season.

Well, the full cut of that song actually DOES feature the “ooh-loo-loo-loos,” it just comes much later in the song. Keep reading to find out more… In an interview with Cristóbal explained to the New York Times, “I texted the producer and I told him that it would be great to, at some point, give [fans] the longer version with the ooh-loo-loo-loos, because people will explode if they realize that it was going there anyway.
