Doctor scans revealed the huge size of the cysts which needed to be removed straight away.61-year-old Manjeet Kaur complained about breathing issues and stomach pains before doctors gave her scan.The risky two-hour surgery, which took place at Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), was a success.The hospital’s director principal, Dr Kulbir Kaur, said: “It is indeed a great moment for us in these testing times.“We’re committed to doing well for the betterment of our people.” Manjeet from Kapurthala in the state of Punjab, northern India, first went for medical help at her local hospital, but she moved to PIMS when she got worse.
