Queen’s funeral would have been an ideal time for Vladimir Putin to have dropped lethal nuclear missiles on the UK. After reportedly losing vast swathes of territory in eastern Ukraine, there have been fears mounting that Russian leader Vladimir Putin may engage his nuclear arsenal to end the conflict once and for all.

Speaking in a clip translated and shared on Twitter by journalist Julia Davis (@JuliaDavisNews), Duma deputy Andrey Gurulyov embarked on a rant against Britain. He raged: “Why would we bomb Ukraine or Germany when there is Britain, the root of evil?"Olga interrupted, adding: “We should have done it today, when all the best people are there for the funeral, God forgive me.Spurred on by the host, Gurulyov continued his threats, urging: “When Britain is turned into a Martian desert, will they defend a Martian desert per their Fifth Article?

There will be nothing left.“What do they call it? An unshakeable island? We’ll shake it up.”The Russian lawmaker was even reminded by one of his co-hosts that Britain possesses nuclear warheads of its own, but Gurulyov was not deterred in his rant.To get more world news stories from Daily Star.
