'Poologist' cashes in £1k-a-day to dive into pools of poo to fix blockages

$2,000 a day (£1,000).The Australian sewage worker, who refers to himself by the name Poologist, confirmed the amount of cash for those "willing" to dive into a sewage plant tank full of brown waste.A video of a sewage worker dressed head to toe in protective diving gear was shared by the Poologist, showing the fellow worker dropping himself into a tank full of sewage.The protective gear was a necessity as the man plunged into the murky brown depths to check a blocked air diffuser.A rope to keep the man from falling deep into the sewage tank was attached to the worker, with a GPS inside the helmet to locate the potential blockage inside.He said: "There's too much air in the water, so if you were to fall in, you would sink straight to the bottom".The poologist added that it's pitch black in the tank and a worker must check for the diffuser blockage by "feeling around" with his hands.An extensive cleaning routine is needed after the job is done, with the Poologist sharing the details of a rigorous cleaning procedure.He said: "They are completely pressurised and hosed off when they exit the tank".Commenters and Australians were supportive of the job, with one saying: "Bro, if I could choose where my tax goes I would gladly send money this guys way".Another wrote: "Now we all know how legends are made, imagine if he had a leak in his suit."The poologist shared the video of the sewage plant worker hoping to educate other Aussies about what happens to their excrement when it is flushed down the toilet.He warned that people should never flush baby wipes or sanitary pads down the toilet as they can cause major blockages and clogs to sewage systems.Millions of dollars were reportedly spent on unclogging the problem, with water.
