A swimmer from Forgandenny has made a splash at the European Youth Olympics Festival.Evan Davidson swam a brilliant race to win 200IM bronze in Maribor, Slovenia on Wednesday.He had already banked 4x100m freestyle relay silver earlier in the week with Great Britain team-mates.His Strathallan School swim coach Elaine Johnston told the PA: “I’m absolutely delighted.“With an entry time of 2.06 and a final time of 2.04.83, it shows that the hard work put in training full-time at Strathallan is paying off.“We worked hard to get a decent balance of training and study during important exams, which is always a challenge, but we managed to make it work.”
