Oasis legend Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs has shared an update with his dedicated fans, revealing he had completed his chemotherapy treatment. The guitarist and founding member of the legendary rock band announced in April of this year he had been diagnosed with tonsil cancer and was undergoing treatment.Paul's update comes just a week after bandmate Liam Gallagher paid tribute to the star at his jaw-dropping homecoming show at Manchester's Etihad Stadium. As his second song, Rock 'N' Roll Star got underway, Liam said: "This is for our Bonehead."Now, it appears the 56-year-old is looking towards the future after sharing a positive update. He told fans: "Quick update, I'm in again for chemotherapy overnight tonight.

That's my second and final session of chemo, the first wiped me out but hopefully, this one will be better."I'm just past the halfway point in treatment now, I've done 16 out of 30 sessions of radiotherapy and it's getting sore, but I'm still smiling, feeling positive and being me. "Counting down the days now and I'll be finished the day after my birthday on the 24th."Paying homage to his bandmate Liam who recently performed to sold-out crowds at Knebworth and the Etihad, Bonehead continued: "Thank you for all the messages of support, they mean so much, keep them coming I read them all.

I hope you enjoyed the Etihad and Knebworth shows those of you who went, how good did it look and sound?"Here's to next year, I'll keep you updated but I'm looking to the end of treatment soon and a few months of recovery.
