Tom Malone Sr will abseil down the Manchester Trafford Centre Barton Tower Abseil, on June 25 2022. Roy Castle OBE, who was a singer, dancer, comedian and presenter of long-running BBC show Record Breaker, died from lung cancer in 1994 having raised over £1m to support the Lung Cancer Fund - the UK's only charity solely devoted to supporting those diagnosed with lung cancer.

In recognition of his fundraising efforts, the charity was renamed in his honour. Fans have rushed to commend Tom on his efforts.
