First Minister today said the Scottish Government would continue working with relevant bodies to safeguard the future all clubs in the SPFL - and below.

She was responding to a question from Stuart McMillan, MSP for Greenock and Inverclyde at First Minister's Questions.Mr McMillan asked: "Can the First Minister consider the introduction of a football task force to try to find a way to help football navigate a way through out this pandemic which safeguards the future of our clubs, particularly our smaller community clubs which play such an important part in the social and economic fabric of communities."The First Minister replied: "I absolutely recognise the important role football in particular, but sport in general, plays in communities.
