Aram Sheibani, 40, is accused of a catalogue of offences including dishonestly obtaining money transfers, fraud and forgery.
It is alleged he lived a ‘luxury lifestyle’ and had obtained significant wealth through illicit property buying, tax evasion and drug dealing.
Mr Sheibani, of Trafford, denies the offences and is on trial at Manchester Crown Court. In the fourth week of the trial, the jury heard evidence from expert forensic accountant Julian Beressi.
