After an unsettled and cold May so far, temperatures will finally rise this weekend in Manchester over the long weekend. And good news for those enjoying summer holidays in the first week of June as the weather is set to stay settled, sunny and warm throughout the next week.

The Met Office say temperatures will rise to 19C in Manchester on Saturday, although it could remain overcast for the most part of the day.
