Matt Berninger has announced a series of intimate UK solo shows and Q&A events set for this spring.The National frontman will perform three stripped-back shows, joined by producer Sean O’Brien and Julia Laws (Ronboy), both of whom feature on his upcoming record, ‘Get Sunk’, which was previewed earlier this month with new single ‘Bonnet Of Pins’.The performances mark the first opportunity for UK audiences to hear material from the new record, which arrives on 30th May via Concord/Book Records, and marks the second solo album from Berninger, following on from his 2020 debut ‘Serpentine Prison’.Visit here to pre-order the new album, and here to order tickets, which go on sale Wednesday (March 26) at 10am.Alongside the intimate shows, Berninger will also take part in several Q&A sessions, with these included events at Leeds’ Brudenell Social Club with BBC Radio 6’s Chris Hawkins, London’s KEF Music Gallery with Huw Stephens, and Union Chapel with Matt Everitt.A post shared by Matt Berninger (@greengloves777)Following these April dates, Berninger will embark on a tour across North America, the UK, and Europe.These kick off with a series of North American stops this spring, commencing in Seattle on May 19. Little Simz is set to play a one-off orchestral show at London’s Meltdown 2025, with the first wave of names revealed today for the Southbank Centre event.The British artist was previously revealed to be curating a boundary-breaking line-up for this year’s edition of the 11-day festival, and will be taking to the stage herself as one of the performers.She will be joined by the Southbank Centre Resident Orchestra Chineke! YouTube star Yung Filly has been accused of raping a tourist in Magaluf.Per a report from The Mirror, the 29-year-old internet personality is being investigated by a judge in the Majorcan capital Palma over the alleged sexual assault.Today (March 24), it emerged that a British tourist had accused the ‘Grey’ rapper of forcing himself on her at an unnamed Magaluf hotel following a performance at an island holiday resort last summer.The woman, believed to be aged around 20, reported him to authorities in Britain who passed on details of the allegation to those in Spain. It is not yet clear if the alleged victim has already been questioned by the judge in charge of the ongoing criminal probe. The Majorcan court probe is being conducted behind closed doors as is standard in Spain, where only trials are held in public.It comes after Colombian-born Filly – real name Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos – pleaded not guilty to multiple charges of sexual assault only a fortnight ago.He has been on bail since last October, following accusations of three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm and four counts of sexual penetration without consent, with the alleged assault of a woman in her 20s taking place in a Perth hotel room on September 28, following the rapper’s performance at the Bar 120 nightclub on September 27.Now, according to various reports by BBC, The Independent and Sky News, new court documents have shown that the rapper – real name Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos – pleaded not guilty to three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm.
